Categories of Admission


Out of the 15% seat on supernumerary basis, four modes of admission of Foreign Nationals/ Indian Nationals studying abroad/Overseas Citizen of India are prescribed.

 

Mode 1. (M1) Admission through DASA (5% seats supernumerary basis)

Under this category the student directly applies online, fills an online application form and makes the fee payment along with doing the other formalities given on the DASA website through DASA’s portal.

Eligibility for Undergraduate Programmes under Mode 1 (DASA)

 

Mode 2. (M2) Direct Admission for foreign nationals: Applications routed through ICCR (4% seats supernumerary basis)

a) 2% for Foreign Nationals from SAARC and ASEAN countries and,

b) 2% for Foreign Nationals from countries other than (a) above

Under this category the application of the candidates shall be routed directly through Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) , GoI, The form shall be accompanied by relevant documents attested by the authorized persons of their respective countries.

Eligibility for Post-Graduate Programmes under Mode 2 (ICCR)

Eligibility for Ph.D Program under Mode 2 (ICCR)

 

Mode 3. (M3) Direct Admission for Foreign Nationals: Direct application through DTU portal/ Embassies in India (3% seats supernumerary basis)

a) 1.5% for Foreign Nationals from SAARC and ASEAN countries and,

b) 1.5% for Foreign Nationals from countries other than (a) above

Under this category candidates shall apply on-line in the prescribed format before the last date directly on the web portal of the office of International Affairs, Delhi Technological University. The form shall be accompanied by relevant documents attested by the authorized persons of their respective countries. Alternatively, the application may be received from the foreign Embassies in India.

Mode 4. (M4) Direct Admission for Foreign Nationals: Direct application through Study in India(SII) (3% seats supernumerary basis)

a) 1.5% for Foreign Nationals from SAARC and ASEAN countries and,

b) 1.5% for Foreign Nationals from countries other than (a) above

Under this category candidates shall apply on-line in the prescribed format through Study in India portal. The form shall be accompanied by relevant documents attested by the authorized persons of their respective countries.
